Dr. Jeff Fordice
Dr. Jeff Fordice has over 30 years of experience delivering superior dentistry with results that last. From getting to know his patients to meeting their dental needs, he loves everything about his job and the dentistry he provides. Each day Dr. Fordice feels privileged to use his hands to perform very detailed procedures that use science, technology, dental materials and techniques. These procedures use principles of design, creativity and many art-like skills that keep him enthused about dentistry. Even though the dental industry changes quickly with new technology, he enjoys embracing the change. His goal is to help each patient achieve and maintain a healthy smile they love.
Dr. Fordice earned his AA degree from Inver Hills Community College in 1974 and graduated from Hamline University in St. Paul with a BA in Biology in 1977. He went on to complete his dental degree at the University of Minnesota School of Dental Minneapolis in 1981 and completed his General Practice Residency at the University of Iowa in 1982. Dr. Fordice opened his practice in Fairmont in 1984 and has since completed hundreds of hours of continuing education courses.
Dr Fordice and his wife of 39 years, Paula had four children and have been blessed with eight grandchildren to date. Life changed for all in the family when Paula, passed away in 2017 from brain cancer. God has granted us peace that tempers the sorrow of great loss. I am doubly blessed to have found love a second time, Ann Gronewald and I were married in March of 2019 almost 18 years after the loss of her husband Scott. Her two children have five children bringing the total love opportunities to thirteen grandchildren. I have learned to highly value marriage and family relationships. Outside of spending time with his family, Dr. Fordice enjoys water sports, the great outdoors, painting, woodworking and auto restoration. He is active in his church and has gone on mission trips to Ecuador, Dominican Republic and El Salvador (twice!) to care for people in need.
Dr. Daniel Fordice
Birch Street Dentistry welcomes Daniel Fordice back to the practice after spending two years gaining additional experience and training in Santa Barbara California. Daniel completed an advanced general dentistry residency and worked as a general dentist in a high-tech office. In these settings, he focused on how new information, technology, methods, and materials can enhance the health of our patients. He is passionate about continuing education, and is currently studying how the mouth and airway can affect the quality of our sleep, our total health, and our daily lives.
Daniel has interests in photography, art, technology, health, nutrition, sleep medicine that enhance his skills as a dentist. Jeff and our staff thank Dan for taking a year out of his life in 2017 to help relieve Jeff at the practice during Paula’s passing prior to his residency. After two years of new growth and experience, he is excited to return to Fairmont where he will work full-time, while Jeff will work two to three days a week. His wife Meghan is a paralegal and a mother to their two young children. They look forward to being active in our community, church, raising their children and making a great life back in Fairmont, his home town.
Nancy - Office Manager
Nancy grew up in Ceylon and went on to Canby AVTI for dental assisting. After joining our office in 1988 she began as our receptionist. As our practice grew she became office manager and patient care coordinator. This means she helps you understand what your dental needs are, explains your options and helps you navigate your way to dental health. With her experience level she knows dentistry and can explain your options well.
Barb - Receptionist
Barb: Barb grew up in Fairmont. She has been a member of our staff since 2000, we are glad to have her as our Receptionist. She brought with her an easy going personality, that bright smile and 12 years of dental experience at Jackson/Fairmont Dental Lab.
Her interests include trail riding and camping with their horses, gardening, cooking and spending time with family and friends. Barb does a great job of helping you become part of our practice family.
Carmen - Registered Dental Hygienist
Carmen has been in dentistry since 1995. She enjoys spending time with her family and running is her main hobby.
With her advanced gum disease training and laser certification she knows how to comfortably help you maintain a healthy smile.
Diane - Registered Dental Hygienist
With over 30 years experience she began with our practice in 1996. Diane is proficient in all areas of hygiene. She is certified to use lasers and to treat periodontal disease. Helping patients get healthy and to maintain their smiles is an enjoyment of hers.
Nicole - Registered Dental Hygienist
Nicole has been in the dental field since 1996 and has been one of our three hygienist since 2002. Certified in laser assisted periodontal treatment she knows how to treat periodontal disease and to help you stay healthy. Family, friends and civic projects keep her on the go and never bored in life. Always smiling, she will cheer you up.
Pattie - Dental Assistant
Pattie has been in dentistry since 1982. She was my main assistant for many years and now works on Mondays. Her personality will keep you smiling and we appreciate her experience level and commitment to excellence. Faith, family and friendship keep her busy all the time.
Sarah - Registered Dental Assistant
As assistant since 1999 she has been with us since 2006. Sara is great at anticipating what comes next and in making you comfortable. She values her family time with her three children.
Darcy - Registered Dental Assistant
Darcy is a Certified Dental Assistant and has been for 27 years. She is married to her husband Pat and together they have a daughter whom is a senior at Fairmont High School- GO CARDINALS! Darcy enjoys cooking, reading, snow shoeing, and camping in her free time. We are thrilled to have her, and to add another smiling face to our team to take care of our patients.
